Beer Talk- Round One
Welcome to Beer Talk, where Beer is always top of mind! Some of the topics you can expect to see here will cover things such as food and beer pairings, cooking with beer, new products to look for in the market, and many others!
Well, let’s get started, shall we?! Our first blog topic is going to be about cooking with beer. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love food?! .. And if you’re reading our blog, I’m guessing that you also love beer, so what better topic to start with?!
Cooking with beer is one of the best ways to cook. The beer can really add lots of extra flavor, whether you’re making a chili, marinating meat, or preparing a famous beer can chicken; you can’t go wrong. Not to mention, it’s a fun way to impress your friends or family! So enough gibber gabber, here’s one of my favorite cooking with beer recipes to try!
First, Chili! The ultimate meal for every fall and winter occasion. Basically take your favorite chili recipe, or you can use this one here and add beer! Make sure to let the beer and chili simmer to get the best results. My favorite beer to add to Chili is Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.
Why Sam Adams Cherry Wheat? Well, it’s a crisp and fruity ale brewed with a hint of honey and Michigan cherries. The brew by Sam Adams is full of flavor but not too overbearing. The brew adds a little bit of sweetness to a hearty and meaty chili.
Some other options to try with your meal include the World Famous Budweiser or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale!
